Kairos, up and running!
Norwegian language rhetoric magazine now live
With my colleague at the University of South-Eastern Norway, Iben Brinch Jørgensen, I am the editor of a new Norwegian language rhetoric magazine called KAIROS. Get in touch if you want to write for us! (We do translations, so any language (well...) will do!)

Looking for tips about classics for text collections
A group of us at the Centre for Development and the Environment are putting together a pair of readers — collections of classic texts — in political ecology and environmental humanities, respectively. If you have tips for texts you think should be included in either of them, let me know on: email@example.com!
Some recent publications
Got nothing to read? Check these out:
I have a couple of articles in the new rhetoric magazine we have just put online: The first is a review article of Philosophy & Rhetoric's special issue on COVID-19, and the other a piece on the kairos concept, with Iben Brinch Jørgensen.
I recently wrote a book review of new textbooks for Norwegian primary school, focusing on their coverage of sustainable development. Here is a response from one of the authors, who suspects I didn't read the entire book (she's wrong; I always do!).
I have a blog post out on Palgrave Macmillan's Social Science Matters site, on democratic responses to pandemics.
My latest academic publication is "Some Reflections on the Wideness of the Atlantic", which appeared in the Rhetoric Society of America's 50th anniversary publication, Reinventing Rhetoric Scholarship: Fifty Years of the Rhetoric Society of America.
